Access to previous backups

When a new D&L or Server account is established, there is an initial backup of data. Once the initial backup has been completed, only changes at the binary level are backed up thereafter. This means that daily backups are completed quickly.

After the initial backup, daily backups are done for a two calendar month, up to 60 day, period. At the end of the 60 days, the oldest 30 days are consolidated into a single backup volume until a further 30 days have elapsed when the cycle is repeated. Users of the service are able to access specific backups up to the month end consolidation allowing restores to be effected from any point within the cyclic 30 to 60 day window.
